Welcome to ROCK THEATRE
New residents of Gibraltar, keen to contribute to our new community, ROCK THEATRE has been formed to provide and promote top quality theatre on the Rock.
The first production NOT ABOUT HEROES performs around Remembrance Sunday 2009 in support of the charity HELP FOR HEROES. The actors are London professionals; but later productions will include more Gibraltar talent as we get to know more people.
We aim to present a wide range of theatre from both abroad and locally, covering small-scale plays to the classics (including Shakespeare) as well as musical theatre, and to arrange classes and workshops in all things theatrical.
Artistic Director, Angela Jenkins, is a professionally trained actress and singer who has directed and performed extensively in leading roles at London and Edinburgh fringe venues, regional repertory theatres and music halls from the Hoxton Hall to the Royal Albert Hall.
